A fireside chat with Jane Goodall
Future Ecosystems for Africa (FEFA) Researchers Prof. Sally Archibald (co-PI), Dr Odirilwe Selomane (Funded Collaborator), and Dr Fezile Mtsetfwa (Postdoctoral Fellow) formed a four-person panel in conversation with Dr Jane Godall, a world-renowned ethologist and environmentalist. The conversation was titled “Protect, Manage, Restore” and focused on co-creating future ecosystems for Africa. The Oppenheimer Generations Research and Conservation (OGRC) hosted the event on 21 February 2024 at Wits Origins Centre in partnership with the Jane Goodall Institute and the Future Ecosystems for Africa (FEFA) Programme of the University of the Witwatersrand (Wits). The conversation made waves and was covered by Daily Maverick, Wits, and OGRC articles.
